Leduc Golf Club To Offer Adult Beginner Camps
It's Never Too Late!
Thursday, April 03, 2014
The news from the Leduc Golf Club is more excited than a meatball molecule in a microwave oven. For the first time ever, the course is offering golf camps for adult beginners during May and June.
The Leduc Golf Club’s great new initiative might be just what the doctor ordered for the self-taught, perpetually frustrated, as well as those who have never tried golfing before. For the former, this would be a great chance to learn exactly what you’ve been doing wrong all these years. The pros can show you why it is that, when you address a ball, the gallery runs off to hide in the trees. You can still pass yourself off as a “beginner”, though, as you will finally begin to improve your score. (Cue the “Hallelujah Chorus”!)
For the raw rookies, the instruction promises to provide a background in golfing basics to give them the confidence to take up the sport without feeling self-conscious. The training in the small, relaxed group setting will give first-timers the tools they need to understand how to whack the ball far and straight, rather than the either/or proposition self-taught skills provide. Teaching yourself to golf makes you feel just like Tarzan because you will be swinging from tree to tree.
The beginner golf camps are being offered most Tuesdays and Wednesdays in May, (excluding the 20th and 21st), as well as June 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th. The cost is $100.00 for the two-day camps which will save you from years of frustration and, possibly, therapy. Golf camp participants will also receive a pass for nine holes of new found fun at the luxurious Leduc Golf Club. To book one of the very limited spots, call the course at 780-986-GOLF or visit us online at www.leducgolf.com.
